Stuck in lockdown

Stopped over at the Real Food Cafe for cake and coffee. Very odd that despite being shown to seats inside the restaurant and being served by a waiter, the order and payment has to be made on a dedicated mobile app. Why?!

We had 'fish and chips day' cake which was a Victoria sponge with raspberry jam and a heavy coating of fondant, too heavy although the sponge was nice.

We also had a cappuccino cake, a nice mildly coffee flavoured sponge with lovely creamy buttercream.

Still mystified by the online ordering...
